Lena was invited to participate in “She Leads Ukraine” in Ivano-Frankivsk, for three days of training dedicated to women's leadership and women's participation in social and political life.
The workshop was intense and meaningful. They focused on transformational leadership, how to better understand one's own abilities, overcome internal barriers, and not be afraid to take responsibility. They discussed the challenges women face when deciding to go into leadership, work for their communities, and represent the interests of others.
The open discussions, working in small groups, and the opportunity to hear the experiences of other women were especially valuable. After all, women's leadership is not just about position or status. It's about the courage to act, the ability to unite people, stand up for important values, and change lives around us.
The event inspired new thoughts and the conviction that strong women's leadership begins with the willingness to take the first step.
